We carry the following models:- ARO EXP Series AODD Pumps: Designed for automation, this series features electronic interface capabilities for highly accurate dosing and a patented QuickDump™ valve that reduces icing issues. Solenoid actuation provides precise cycle rate control for improved batch repeatability.
- ARO Pro Series AODD Pumps: Designed for general OEM installation and industrial applications, this series features a pneumatic motor for safe use in potentially explosive areas. The pumps work with corrosive, abrasive, and high viscosity substances and allow for the damage-free transfer of large particles.
Deciding Between a Metallic or Non-Metallic Air Operated Diaphragm Pump
Non-metallic AODD pumps are manufactured for superior corrosion resistance. These pumps have a polypropylene body and casing made from Kynar, acetal or polypropylene. The diaphragm and fasteners are also constructed of corrosion-resistant materials. Typical applications for non-metallic air operated diaphragm pumps include corrosive and abrasive fluids such as those found in water and wastewater treatment applications.Metallic AODD pumps have a casing made from stainless steel, cast iron, or aluminum. Diaphragm materials include Viton, nitrile, and other highly durable elastomers and compounds. These pumps are designed to handle harsh substances found in oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical processing, ceramic, and paint applications.
